Are We A Nobody?

As the men were exchanging conversation, a couple of them were discussing the impact that a man of God in the world could make on others, and how it didn’t matter about their status, finances, looks, popularity, or even intellect. It’s because of Christ and those men who surrender to the love of Christ are transformed and take on a new identity in becoming the representative of Jesus. The two men’s final statement was this. what the world sees as a nobody God sees as a somebody."-Matt and Allen  

When most of the men started their journey some did feel like nobody’s  and others may have felt like somebody’s with no purpose. But soon their relationships grew in Christ and with one another. Little did they know it would change everything. 

When considering your Influencer journey, be encouraged by God’s words written through Paul. 

“Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth.”

Scripture explains that God often chooses the seemingly weak and foolish things of the world to shame

the wise and powerful, and that no one may boast in himself but only because of God.

Scripture also tells us this about men of God,

“The members of the council were amazed when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, for they could

see that they were ordinary men with no special training in the Scriptures. They also recognized them as

men who had been with Jesus.”
