                                PSALM 20

May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble!
    May the name of the God of Jacob protect you,

2 May he send you help from the sanctuary
    and give you support from Zion!

3 May he remember all your offerings
    and regard with favor your burnt sacrifices! Selah

4 May he grant you your heart's desire
    and fulfill all your plans!
5 May we shout for joy over your salvation,
    and in the name of our God set up our banners!
May the Lord fulfill all your petitions!

6 Now I know that the Lord saves his anointed;
    he will answer him from his holy heaven
    with the saving might of his right hand.
7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
    but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
8 They collapse and fall,
    but we rise and stand upright.

9 O Lord, save the king!
    May he answer us when we call.

OUR DAILY INFLUENCE for the WEEK

Read Psalm 20 every morning this week

Monday Morning - read Psalm 20

“May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob protect you!

Examine Ourselves:

Think about the circumstances in your life in the past weeks, months, years. Take your time. Really think and review those thoughts. Family, friends, job, finances, health. How about the thought that you even exist. Think about the blessings in your life. Say them out loud. Hear yourself say them.

Has God rescued you? What has He rescued you from?

Be Reminded Today;

Since the day of Jacob He is for you. He is God, the creator of heaven and earth. He is your heavenly father. He is with you yesterday, TODAY, and tomorrow remember that in the things He has done. Show others your gratitude to God by how you live today.

Tuesday Morning- read Psalm 20

May he send you help from the sanctuary and give you support from Zion! May he remember all your offerings and regard with favor your burnt sacrifices! Selah

Examine Ourselves;

There are moments in our lives that we can not explain. Sometimes they are a sense of feeling or a sixth sense of awareness, other times they appear to be a form of coincidence and quite often strangers are brought to us in the most awkward and bizarre moments. Have any of these moments stuck in your head?

Be Reminded Today;

Don't dismiss these moments as quirks of fate but instead be reminded that God has sent you the Helper and that He is in you and with you. Nothing is a coincidence but rather a “Godcidence” Today, search for opportunities  to share your testimony of these moments with others around you. These are the things God remembers.

Wednesday Morning- read Psalm 20

May he grant you your heart’s desire and fulfill all your plans! May we shout for joy over your salvation, and in the name of our God set up our banners! May the Lord fulfill all your petitions!

Examining Ourselves;

It is so easy to become complacent in the things we get used to. What are some areas in your life that you have become complacent in? Family, wife, work, finances, and maybe God? What are they? Now ask yourself “What happened that made me complacent? The ability to pray to our Father in heaven is the greatest gift and weapon that He has given His warriors. Two way communication on demand. He has proven his desire for us to experience constant presences of joy in our lives by giving us continuous access to Him and a renewed relationship through His Son Jesus Christ. Have you experienced complacency in this area? You're not alone.

Be Reminded Today;

This morning literally get on your knees and pray. Enjoy this moment. Say the things that are on your mind and weighing you down. Ask for the things you lack and and show your gratitude by spending time with the one who is the reason for your eternal joy.

Thursday Morning- read Psalm 20

Now I know that the Lord saves his anointed; he will answer him from his holy heaven with the saving might of his right hand.

Examining Ourselves

I remember a slogan that I grew up with, “knowing is half the battle”  that is true that learning is half of the battle in knowing. How do we know that the Lord saves His anointed? First reading the testaments of God's Word and all the stories of the saving might of His right hand? What is your favorite God story that gives you hope, excluding the resurrection of Christ? Think about that story for a moment and be in awe. He is worthy of this pause, really give it thought. Think about the emotions of the people during that moment. Secondly being in fellowship with one another and hearing the personal testimonies of your brothers in Christ. This is truly a relatable experience in knowing the faithfulness of God.

Be Reminded Today;

Take some time and ask someone share who they are. Listen to them. It doesn't matter if there are a believer, a friend or a stranger. Just hearing them and learning how God has been working in their life whether they know it or not. Also ask yourself when was the last time you have had intentional and active fellowship with other brothers in Christ? If your answer is, never or it's been a long time then I can promise you that God wants you to fix that. Find a group of brother that come together on a regular basis, today.

Friday Morning- read Psalm 20

Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. They collapse and fall, but we rise and stand upright. O Lord, save the king! May he answer us when we call.”

Examining Ourselves

If someone was to ask you, “Who do you trust?” How would you respond?  Would you ask them to clarify the question or maybe you might say, “Could you be more specific? Some of us may even say "God" without skipping a heart beat. But our response really doesn't matter in comparison to the life we live. Living a life trusting only in God is not a one time effort it's a life long process and God knows this. This ongoing process will continue to show God's unfailing trust which in turn will give us boldness in our confidence in the Perfect King who we worship by serving for eternity.

Be Reminded Today;

Take some chances today and this weekend.  Make a few changes in your routine. Put God first by prioritizing His agenda over yours. Trust Him and see what happens. HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!!
